CNW 703 Transient Suppressor
Protection device for use with new or existing equipment. Efficient protection against high voltages, lightning strikes and transients. Also provides RFI attenuation down to approximately 50 dB at 1 MHz.
By installing the CNW 703 a path to earth is generated when higher than the normal
supply line voltages are present. In this way control panel components and conductors are protected in the event of a lightning strike or switching transients.Quite often additional mains filters are not required. The CNW703 must be protected by using either a suitably rated fuse or MCB. Protection should be fitted at the point of a
reduction in conductor cross sectional area
