CNW 897 Three Phase Harmonic Filter
These filters can be used for attenuating selected harmonics such as the 5th and 7th which may contribute the largest percentage of the total harmonic distortion. This is also a way in which power factor correction capacitors may be introduced into a circuit without causing resonance with supply transformers. These filters can also be used with different transformer and rectifier configurations, such as in 12-pulse systems for instance.
