A control unit that drives a DC motor in response to a material storage level- sensor. When the sensor calls for material the motor is switched on after an adjustable time delay (0.1....15 sec.). When sufficient product is detected by the sensor the motor is switched off after an adjustable time delay (0.1....15 sec.). An enable input is provided for interlocking with other control units, so that the storage conveyor can only run when an overriding system controller is also switched on. The trimmers for setting the switching time delays are accessed by removing protective inserts from the front panel. LED’s are provided to indicate the sensor status and motor output status. The enclosure is sealed to IP54 and is provided with a mains-switch, cable and a socket connector for the motor supply. There is also a 5 pin socket for control (enable) and a 4 pin socket for the sensor.
