REOVIB Vareotron 166 3 x 400 V Enclosed Version (IP54) I/D 16602
The VAREOTRON 166 control unit drives a motor in response to a material storage level-sensor. When the sensor calls for material the motor is switched on after an adjustable time delay (0.1....15 sec.). When sufficient product is detected by the sensor the motor is switched off after an adjustable time delay (0.1....15 sec.). An enable input is provided for interlocking with other control units, so that the storage conveyor can only run when an overriding system controller is also switched on. The trimmers for setting the switching time delays are accessed by removing protective inserts from the front panel. LED’s are provided to indicate the sensor status and motor output status. Inside the controller there is a bi-metal relay. The motor is switched off immediately when there is a fault The enclosure is sealed to IP54 and is provided with a mains-switch, cable and a socket connector for the motor supply. There is also a 5 pin M12 socket for control (enable) and a 5 pin M12 socket for the sensor.
