VAREOSOFT SAG Soft Starters
This range of controllers is suitable for 3-phase asynchronous motors with up to 160kW power rating. Phase angle control is used and there are simple trimmers for adjusting the ramp up time, starting torque and the ramp down time (for dynamic loads that can be powered down).
These units are very easy to install, in series between the supply and load. An integral by-pass contactor is built into the unit, therefore an additional mains contactor is not required. All three phases are controlled and there are output signals, for when the controllers has reached the top of the ramp and for fault conditions such as over temperature
