Vareotron Ru 467 DC Motor Card Drive Enclosed Version (IP54) I/D 4677
The Vareotron Ru467-SP series of controlunits are single-phase 1-quadrant drives forDC motors. They can be used with seperately excited field or permanant magnet motors. The units are supplied in an IP54 enclosure complete with power switch, set-point, potentiometer for speed adjustment, fuse and a mains cable.
The rotational speed is determined bymeasurement of the armature current and socalled I x R compensation or by using atacho-generator. To prevent jolting a soft start and stop integrator is provided, which enables the ramp up/down times to be independantly adjusted.To prevent thermal overload of the motor due to constant running above its current limit, the motor is switched off when the current limit has been exceeded for longer than approximately 3 minutes. A current overload fault is indicated by an LED in the front panel. The unit can be reset by switching the power off and on again.An enable input is provided for switching theoutput power on and off (enable input is atmains potential).The unit has a power rating of 540 W.There is a choice of plastic or aluminiumhousings.
