VAREOTRON MFR 330
The units of the VAREOTRON MFR 330 series are microprocessor-controlled devices for varying the operating speed of three-phase motors.
The units generate a mains-independent operating frequency of 2...120 Hz for the motor. The built-in LED display shows motor speed as a percentage. Especially for material feed applications, a backlog detector function (level control) has been included, which stops the material flow in case of a backlog.
Material detection is done by means of 24 VDC PNP sensors.
Furthermore, the direction of rotation can be reversed. Two speed setpoints are adjustable. Soft-start and soft run-down are selectable. If the sensor detects no material within an adjustable time period, the "sensor timeout" function switches the motor off.
The unit has a mains switch, a mains connecting lead, a 4-pin output socket for connecting the motor, and output sockets for the control function. A built-in fuse protects the output circuit from overload.
The enclosure provides IP 54 protection and can be mounted directly on the feeder device. Electrical connections are made via a cable with plug and a 4-pin output socket.
