DESCRIPTION

Medical systems must safely comply with the leakage currents required by the standard. The TÜV-tested REOMED I isolating transformers are tried and tested devices for use in all electrical systems in medical rooms - they limit the leakage current and thus help to ensure the safety of the operator and patient. In addition to very good efficiency and simple connection options, the REOMED I isolating transformers are characterized by a very low magnetic stray field and a high level of safety. Depending on the model and customer requirements, the isolating transformers can be equipped with electronic switch-on damping, overvoltage protection and a line filter.

The REOMED II isolating transformer is a reliable leakage current limiter in medical systems. Dielectric strength materials - in connection with high quality workmanship - result in a safe isolation from the mains input side. The built-in isolating transformers are designed for low internal losses and thus achieve very low no-load losses. The transformers are protected against overload and short circuits on the input and output side by a circuit breaker. There is no need to keep replacement fuses at hand and at the same time eliminates the risk of confusion. A temperature switch is also integrated, which provides additional security.
