Merry Christmas from REO UK

With the Christmas holidays upon us, many of us will be ordering the turkey and wrapping our gifts. Of course, it’s also the time of year that every street and city centre is illuminated with festive decorations, bringing with it higher utility costs.

Before you put the finishing touches on your giant lighting display, make sure you know what decorating tips you can take on board both at home and at work to save energy and reduce costs.

Traditional incandescent holiday lights, for example, are inefficient and have a short lifespan. Instead, use LED lights on your Christmas tree. They are not only brighter, but they also use 70 per cent less energy.

At REO UK, we have heavily emphasised the importance of renewable energies this year. With the release of our whitepaper, we explained how businesses can overcome the challenges and sustain high power quality with renewable energy.

If improving your energy consumption wasn’t something you managed this year, make sure it’s on your company’s list of new year’s resolutions for 2018. For guidance and tips, download REO UK’s whitepaper on renewable energy and power quality.

Now, that’s enough about energy for now. From everyone at REO UK, we would like to wish you a very merry Christmas and hope that you all enjoy the festivities with a hard-earned break, as that’s what we’ll be doing. Our offices will close on December 22, 2017 and we will return to our normal working hours on January 2, 2018.

Thanks again and we look forward to doing business with you in the new year!

Best regards,

From all the team at REO UK
