When electrical components are used in environments where powerful external influences may occur reliable protection is necessary to ensure trouble-free operation.

To ensure safety of persons and systems, in arduous environments REO provide high Ingress Protection options. The company currently offers a broad range of components in protection classes up to IP 65.

To achieve these high levels of protection, the electrical components are treated with epoxy resin in a vacuum-pressure process and provided with a partial or full casting. The casting provides reliable protection from external influences such as water, brake dust and debris ensuring product longevity and reliability.
