Thyristor power regulator

DESCRIPTION

REOTRON EW 509 is a single-phase thyristor controller for currents up to 15 A. The control electronics are free of mains potential.

The power is controlled by thyristors in phase-cut mode. The setpoint specification can be set via a control potentiometer, a control voltage 0…+ 10 V, DC or via a control current 0(4)… 20 mA. The adjustment of the usable setpoint range can be achieved by the internal trim potentiometers Umin/Umax.

A release input allows the device to be switched on at a higher level. Grid fluctuations are compensated for by an internal control level.

Fixings are provided for DIN rail mounting according to EN 50022-35.
